Cincinnati was fascinating and being there with my WS director (a previous NWSA president) is always very interesting! It's the first time we roomed together.
Home last night by 7pm and leaving today around 8am for the autobiography conference in Hawaii. Not enough time to see anyone but the family. almond joy will be gone when I get back next Sat -- until mid-July, so it's a long time not to be with her.
not much internet at the NWSA conference so I'm really struggling with keeping up with two online classes. one is over this week -- hoping for more connectivity in Hawaii. the other class doesn't know I'm out and about, but my ws students heard more about the conference esp since they were writing papers and citing people I was seeing in real life!
better get going.
The beach sounds like "Ha na ma" bay... I'm not sure how it is spelled... If I recall it is on the south side of the island, or maybe the southwest...
enjoy the fresh pineaple!
