conference

I'm in Hawaii at an auto/biography conference. just gave my paper. went way too fast -- should have just told the story. not so much much much other stuff. it's a great story. they don't know it. but now it's done. my advisor came to the talk!

caught up temporarily in both online classes. one's finishing this week when I'm on the plane back to the midwest.

odd time difference. much less phoning than when I was only one time zone away.

found the Hebrew speaker the first day.

walked on the beach.

am totally caught up in looking at all of the people whose names are familiar from research and writing. they're real people and they all seem to be here and know each other!
