She came by and shared with me about one of my former comp students who's currently in her lit class. Apparently, he said he figured he could do anything after writing a six page analysis paper of a poem for Dr. Timna. She told me that what he got from me was outstanding (awww) and thought I should know it.
I almost cried. Feedback like this is so rare from senior colleagues. I think I needed it today.
Hurrah for positive, unsolicited feedback from colleagues. Sounds like you done good.

That's great to hear! I was afraid that this was going to end with ". . .and she told me that he'd never earned a grade higher than a D in her class."

Yay. That sort of feedback is always so lovely.

It is remarkable how rarely we get that kind of feedback. Good for you.
