yesterday!
I had actually teased the president of the college when I was at a luncheon two weeks ago, representing the college, receiving a state honor for teaching, about whether this would be a good time to put him on the spot: am I getting off probation? the vp for academic affairs had interviewed me earlier that week and signed off on it, and was sitting between us, so it seemed kind of a fun time to ask! he teased right back, but had signed it already. just took two weeks to get from his office to mine.
when I think of this blog starting back when Invisible Adjunct was still posting, or maybe just about when she quit adjuncting, it's been quite a journey. lots of folks supported me along the way.
I'll probably be starting a different blog this summer - one with my real name and location - since I want to journal the Fulbright in Bangladesh in something that I can share with my college colleagues and family. so heads up -- eventually this site will become inactive.

YEA! I'm happy they've improved the process since I did it -- they went on the 'no news is good news' theory. The only reason I knew was because they CC'd me on a memo to HR.
