reading my dissertation

the weirdest feeling -- corresponding with a grad student who is reading my diss.

she likes it!

I had to go back and look at it to see what she's finding there. I remember the relief of having all that information written down so I could forget it. ok, not push it out of my mind, but no longer had to worry that I was going to leave out something important. there are a whole lot of details that are helping her think about the manuscript that I worked on.

still, it's an odd sensation.
